Ethereum Bridging to Robinhood Chain Tops $700M

Robinhood Chain is seeing a sharp increase in Ethereum activity, with more than $700 million worth of ETH now bridged from the Ethereum mainnet to the layer-2 blockchain.

Data from Token Terminal shows that bridge deposits on Robinhood Chain have climbed significantly in recent weeks, highlighting growing demand for moving Ethereum-based assets into the expanding ecosystem. The total value of ETH bridged to the network surpassed $700 million in September.

Over the past month, the amount of Ethereum transferred from the mainnet to Robinhood Chain has surged by approximately 150%. The increase points to accelerating cross-chain activity as users seek opportunities across decentralized applications and other services operating on the network.

The milestone comes as Robinhood Chain continues to post strong onchain growth across several key metrics. Activity accelerated during August, when the network reached record levels in areas including decentralized exchange trading volume.

On Sept. 5, Robinhood Chain recorded $3.7 billion in decentralized exchange volume over a 24-hour period, underscoring the rapid expansion of trading activity across the blockchain.

The surge in Ethereum bridge deposits could also provide additional liquidity for decentralized finance applications built on Robinhood Chain. Greater availability of ETH may support trading, lending and other onchain activities as more users and capital migrate to the network.

Robinhood Chain's recent momentum has placed the layer-2 network increasingly in focus as competition among Ethereum scaling ecosystems intensifies. Bridging allows users to transfer assets between Ethereum and Robinhood Chain while gaining access to applications and services available within the layer-2 environment.

With ETH bridge deposits now above $700 million and up roughly 150% in just one month, Robinhood Chain is showing signs of rapidly growing adoption. Continued increases in liquidity, trading volume and cross-chain transfers could further strengthen activity across its decentralized application ecosystem.
