Binance is preparing another spot market cleanup, with the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange set to remove three stablecoin trading pairs and terminate related trading bots on Sept. 11.
The exchange announced that trading for OPEN/FDUSD, SAGA/FDUSD and VELODROME/USDC will end at 03:00 UTC on Sept. 11, 2026. The move affects OPEN, SAGA and VELODROME but does not represent a full delisting of the three cryptocurrencies from Binance.
Binance regularly reviews its spot trading markets based on factors including liquidity and trading volume. Pairs that attract limited activity can be removed as the exchange seeks to maintain efficient order books and concentrate liquidity in more actively traded markets.
Users will still be able to trade the affected tokens through other supported Binance spot pairs after the removals take effect. Depending on availability, these can include markets denominated in widely used assets such as USDT or BTC.
Market data helps explain Binance's decision. Liquidity across many FDUSD altcoin pairs has declined significantly, while trading activity remains concentrated in major cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum. According to CoinMarketCap data cited in the original report, some mid-cap altcoin pairs account for only around 0.06% to 0.14% of FDUSD trading volume, with daily turnover of roughly $100,000 to $300,000.
The changes also affect Binance Spot Trading Bots. When the three markets close, the exchange will automatically terminate bot services linked to OPEN/FDUSD, SAGA/FDUSD and VELODROME/USDC.
Binance users operating Grid Trading or other automated strategies on the affected pairs should update or shut down their bots before the deadline. Leaving orders active close to the delisting time could expose traders to reduced liquidity, increased slippage or unexpected executions as market activity declines.
The Sept. 11 removals are part of Binance's routine spot market management rather than a broader withdrawal of support for OPEN, SAGA or VELODROME. The tokens will remain listed on the platform as long as other supported trading pairs remain available.
