PUBLISH is pleased to announce that it is one of 12 companies to be accepted into the Korea Press Foundation’s ‘2020 Media Startup Support Project’ incubation program.
PUBLISH was recognized by the foundation for its blockchain notarization technology, which enables users of its content management system, PUBLISHsoft, to easily publish news content on the blockchain in its fight against misinformation.
PUBLISH will be building out applications on top of ‘BigKinds’, a big data and analytics platform developed by the foundation for the newspaper industry.
The platform allows users to perform NLP (natural language processing) on a large dataset of unstructured news content to extract keywords and named entities, among other NLP tasks.
As part of the incubation program, the foundation will provide free mentoring, consultation, and education on how to best leverage the BigKinds API. The selected companies are expected to demonstrate the tools and services they have built toward the end of November 2020.
