Trump Media and Technology Group (DJT), the parent company of Truth Social, reported a decline in the value of its cryptocurrency portfolio during the second quarter, as weaker Bitcoin and Cronos prices contributed to significant losses in the first half of 2026.

According to the company’s latest quarterly filing, Trump Media held 9,477.16 Bitcoin (BTC) as of June 30, with a fair value of approximately $557.1 million. The company had reported 9,542.16 BTC at the end of March, meaning its Bitcoin holdings decreased by 65 BTC during the second quarter.

The decline in crypto prices also weighed heavily on Trump Media’s financial results. The company recorded approximately $360.6 million in losses related to its cryptocurrency holdings during the first six months of 2026. At the end of 2025, its Bitcoin position had been valued at roughly $836 million.

Trump Media’s exposure to Cronos (CRO), the native token associated with Crypto.com, also suffered a substantial drop in value. Its holdings remained unchanged at approximately 756.1 million CRO tokens, but their fair value fell to $40.6 million as of June 30, compared with $68 million at the end of 2025.

A large portion of Trump Media’s Bitcoin holdings was pledged as collateral. As of June 30, the company had committed 4,260.73 BTC against convertible notes, while another 2,077.34 BTC was pledged as part of its Bitcoin options strategy.

The crypto portfolio update comes as Trump Media scales back some of its digital asset plans. The company, Crypto.com and Yorkville Acquisition recently agreed to terminate a proposed business combination that would have created Trump Media Group CRO Strategy, a publicly traded company focused on accumulating a large Cronos treasury.

The parties attributed the decision to prevailing market conditions and changing business and stakeholder priorities. A separate arrangement involving Crypto.com and planned Yorkville America exchange-traded funds was also discontinued, although Yorkville America said its broader ETF plans remain intact.

Trump Media is majority owned by the Donald J. Trump Revocable Trust, in which U.S. President Donald Trump holds a significant stake.
