Michael Novogratz’s Galaxy Digital (GLXY) has appointed Zac Prince as a managing director, according to an internal memo seen by CoinDesk. Prince will work closely with Galaxy President Chris Ferraro to drive the firm’s expansion in digital assets.
Galaxy views the crypto industry as entering a "pivotal era of transformation" and believes Prince’s expertise will help execute its strategic vision. Before joining Galaxy, Prince served as CEO of real estate advisory firm RE Cost Seg for a year. He is best known as the former CEO and co-founder of BlockFi, the now-bankrupt crypto lender.
Prince’s hiring follows Galaxy’s recent recruitment of Anthony Paquette, former CFO of Point72, to the same role at the crypto financial services firm in December.
By bringing in experienced leaders, Galaxy aims to strengthen its position in the evolving digital asset space.
