The Trump Organization has officially denied any involvement with the newly surfaced "$TRUMP Wallet," a crypto app claiming to offer digital asset trading and branded with references to U.S. President Donald Trump. “The Trump Organization knows nothing about this project,” a company spokesperson told CoinDesk, dismissing any association with the platform.
Despite this denial, an X (formerly Twitter) account linked to Trump-related memecoins continues to promote the wallet, calling it “coming soon.” The wallet’s website provides limited details, lacking technical documentation or a clear launch date, but invites users to join a waitlist for early access.
Adding to the confusion, Magic Eden, a prominent NFT marketplace, is reportedly involved in the project. Its CEO, Jack Lu, confirmed participation through a social media post, suggesting the platform is collaborating with GetTrumpMemes.com—the group behind a series of Trump-themed memecoins.
Donald Trump Jr. also weighed in, stating via X that the Trump family and its businesses have “zero involvement” with the wallet, but teased the upcoming launch of a separate wallet tied to World Liberty Financial, a stablecoin initiative previously linked to the former president. Barron Trump, Donald Trump’s youngest son, also publicly denied any affiliation with the wallet.
The incident adds to a growing list of unofficial crypto ventures using Trump’s name. In recent years, Trump-themed digital assets like Trump Coin, Melania Coin, and the World Liberty stablecoin have made headlines. As Trump embraces crypto in his political messaging, opportunistic projects appear to be leveraging his brand—often without consent—raising questions about legitimacy, endorsements, and intellectual property use in the Web3 space.
