Ethereum (ETH) is holding firm just below the $4,500 level, showing resilience despite ongoing crypto market volatility. While the asset has yet to post sharp gains, it remains well-protected from steep declines, supported by strong investor accumulation and bullish technical indicators.

Data reveals that over the past week, more than 420,000 ETH—valued at approximately $1.87 billion—flowed out of exchanges. Such outflows typically signal reduced selling pressure as investors move assets into private wallets, reflecting confidence in Ethereum’s long-term potential. This steady accumulation trend strengthens ETH’s position and reduces the likelihood of sudden market dumps.

From a technical perspective, Ethereum’s Relative Strength Index (RSI) is holding above the neutral 50.0 mark, indicating sustained bullish momentum. The RSI has remained in this favorable zone for most of the month, reinforcing the potential for continued upward movement as long as market conditions remain supportive.

At press time, Ethereum trades at $4,468, just shy of the key $4,500 resistance. Consolidation at this level highlights market resilience and opens the door for ETH to potentially flip $4,500 into a support zone. If successful, this could set the stage for a rally toward the next major resistance at $4,775.

However, risks remain if selling pressure intensifies. A dip below $4,500 could see Ethereum retreat to the $4,307 support level, temporarily weakening its bullish outlook. Even so, with strong accumulation trends and optimistic sentiment backing ETH, the altcoin appears well-positioned to maintain momentum in the near term.
