Worldcoin (WLD) has surged nearly 95% in the past week, briefly crossing $2 before slipping back to $1.75. While the rally drew attention, its sustainability is being tested as whale investors begin offloading large amounts of tokens and technical signals flash caution.

Data shows that in the last 48 hours, addresses holding between 1 million and 10 million WLD sold more than 49 million tokens, worth over $85 million. Despite the sell-off, these wallets still control around 938 million WLD, keeping them in a dominant position to influence market direction. The aggressive profit-taking highlights waning confidence, suggesting that heavy selling pressure could overpower bullish sentiment from retail traders.

Adding to the bearish outlook, technical indicators reveal Worldcoin may be overheating.
