TRON CEO Justin Sun has announced that Samsung Blockchain Keystore will be available in six more countries – Austria, Portugal, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, and Norway – by the end of this month.
It can be recalled that Samsung Blockchain Keystore integrated the TRON blockchain in October this year.
Launched in March, Samsung Blockchain Keystore is a decentralized app store that allows users to consolidate and manage private information and digital keys with “vault-like security”, thereby putting them in control of their data.
“Samsung Blockchain Keystore allows security-conscious users to treat their phone like a cold wallet, storing their private information in a dedicated secure zone...,” Samsung explains in an online post.
The Blockchain Keystore currently supports Bitcoin, Ethereum; select ERC compliant tokens on the Ethereum blockchain platform, and Klaytn. TRON was integrated through the Blockchain Keystore’s software development kit (SDK), allowing developers to build applications running on TRON blockchain.
“Through these applications, users have direct access to TRON blockchain from their devices, as well as other best in class features that TRON blockchain offers,” the TRON Foundation said in October.
In a tweet, Sun announced that Samsung Blockchain Keystore is currently available in Korea, Canada, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, the United Kingdom, and the United States, adding that it will be expanded to the six European countries by the end of this year.
