Binance to Delist Eight Margin Trading Pairs on August 21

Binance has announced another update to its margin trading services, confirming that eight trading pairs will be removed from its Cross Margin platform on August 21, 2026. Three of the affected pairs will also be delisted from Isolated Margin.

According to the crypto exchange, the Cross Margin pairs scheduled for removal are AUCTION/USDC, BEAMX/USDC, CETUS/USDC, HUMA/USDC, LAYER/USDC, NXPC/USDC, UMA/USDC and VELODROME/USDC. Meanwhile, HUMA/USDC, LAYER/USDC and NXPC/USDC will also be removed from Binance Isolated Margin.

The Binance margin trading delisting is scheduled for August 21 at 06:00 UTC. Ahead of the removal, Binance Margin will suspend isolated margin borrowing for HUMA/USDC, LAYER/USDC and NXPC/USDC on August 18 at 06:00 UTC.

Users can no longer transfer assets involving the affected pairs into their Isolated Margin accounts through manual transfers or Auto-Transfer Mode. On August 21, Binance will close open positions, automatically settle balances and cancel pending orders involving the listed Cross and Isolated Margin pairs before removing them from the platform.

Binance warned that users will be unable to modify their positions during the delisting process, which could take approximately three hours. Traders are therefore advised to close relevant positions or move their assets from Margin Accounts to Spot Accounts before margin trading ends to reduce the risk of potential losses.

Separately, Binance will conduct wallet maintenance for BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) on August 20 beginning at 06:00 UTC. Deposits and withdrawals through the BNB Smart Chain will be temporarily suspended from 05:55 UTC.

The BNB Smart Chain wallet maintenance is expected to last around one hour. Binance said token trading on the network will remain available throughout the maintenance period, while deposits and withdrawals will resume once the work is completed.
