In an online post on LinkedIn, PhishFort said that it has been working hard for the past 8 months to make the company capable of defending the crypto market from phishing attacks.
PhishFort protects high-risk companies, such as crypto exchanges, ICOs, and token platforms, from phishing attacks and scams. The company said that it has its presence across six continents, adding that that its open-source intelligence that powers its browser plugin Protect is distributed to nearly 2 million users on a daily basis.
“With the experience and network of the crypto behemoth, alongside our scalable tech and purpose driven mission, we realized that there is a great synergy between us,” PhishFort co-founder Matt Marx said.
“As of April this year, we’re proud to have joined the Binance extended family and work alongside them to help make the industry a safer place for everyone.”
Marx added that the partnership with Binance Labs will help it to “develop even better tech, open doors to new opportunities, and improve our ability to educate and communicate with the community at large.”
