Mike Novogratz Predicts Bitcoin Surge to $150K as Galaxy Digital Lists on Nasdaq

Galaxy Digital CEO and crypto billionaire Mike Novogratz has shared a bold Bitcoin price prediction during a recent interview on CNBC’s Squawk Box. Appearing on the show to mark Galaxy Digital’s listing on the Nasdaq under the ticker GLXY, Novogratz reaffirmed his belief in Bitcoin’s long-term potential and outlined his company’s expanding role in the digital asset space.

Novogratz recounted his early crypto journey, revealing he first bought Bitcoin at around $100 back in 2012-2013—despite widespread skepticism. He said that many people tried to talk him out of launching Galaxy Digital, which he envisioned as the “Goldman Sachs of crypto”—a financial bridge between digital assets and traditional institutions.

According to Novogratz, institutional adoption of Bitcoin accelerated after BlackRock CEO Larry Fink shifted his stance and entered the market. He likened crypto’s momentum to a growing “snowball” that is now unstoppable. Galaxy Digital is currently expanding into Bitcoin mining and building AI-integrated data platforms, reinforcing its position as a crypto market leader.

When asked about Bitcoin’s future trajectory, Novogratz pointed to its January 2025 all-time high of $109,000, attributing the rally to a mix of market optimism and political developments. After a brief correction, he believes Bitcoin is poised to reclaim that level and surge further, projecting a near-term target between $130,000 and $150,000.

He also predicted the broader crypto market could grow from its current $2 trillion valuation to $22 trillion, rivaling the total market cap of gold. Novogratz’s bullish stance reflects a growing belief among investors that Bitcoin could soon become a dominant global asset class.
