MakerDAO smart contract team is about to roll out a solution called "OptimismDai Bridge," which can help to shorten the current withdrawal time (one week).
In specific, the solution allows to lock L1 DAI to mint L2 oDAI, and allows oDAI to be destroyed instantly to access L1 DAI. MakerDAO will support the fast withdrawal in the third or fourth quarter of this year, implementing migration from oDAI to DAI, and settlement immediately.
