Litecoin (LTC) saw a sharp decline on Monday, dropping 11.05% to $86.51 by 15:00 (19:00 GMT) on the Investing.com Index. This marked its steepest one-day percentage loss since March 3, pushing its market cap down to $6.70 billion, accounting for 0.26% of the total crypto market.

LTC traded between $86.48 and $98.91 in the last 24 hours, extending its weekly losses to 21.24%. Over the past seven days, its price ranged from $86.48 to $112.97. Trading volume reached $962.36 million, representing 0.72% of total crypto market volume. Despite fluctuations, Litecoin remains 79.40% below its all-time high of $420.00 set on December 12, 2017.

Meanwhile, Bitcoin (BTC) dropped 6.13% to $77,542.2, with a market cap of $1.55 trillion, making up 60.53% of the total crypto market. Ethereum (ETH) also faced a steep decline, falling 9.80% to $1,823.53, with a market cap of $228.48 billion, or 8.92% of the crypto market.

The broader cryptocurrency market has experienced significant volatility, with major digital assets facing notable declines. Investors continue to monitor market movements as bearish sentiment weighs on prices.
