Litecoin (LTC) saw a sharp decline of 10.32% on Monday, trading at $113.70 by 11:01 (16:01 GMT) on the Investing.com Index. This marked its largest single-day percentage loss since March 3. The drop pushed Litecoin’s market capitalization down to $8.62 billion, representing 0.29% of the total cryptocurrency market cap. At its peak, Litecoin's market cap reached $25.61 billion.

Over the past 24 hours, LTC traded between $112.95 and $130.07. The seven-day performance shows a 6.64% decline, with Litecoin ranging from $106.48 to $131.92. Trading volume in the past day hit $2.05 billion, accounting for 0.95% of the total crypto market volume. Despite recent movements, Litecoin remains down 72.93% from its all-time high of $420, recorded on December 12, 2017.

The broader cryptocurrency market also saw losses. Bitcoin (BTC) dropped 1.20% to $90,182.60, while Ethereum (ETH) fell 6.32% to $2,288.41. Bitcoin’s market capitalization stood at $1.79 trillion, making up 60.15% of the total crypto market, whereas Ethereum's market cap totaled $275.75 billion, or 9.26%.

The latest market dip reflects ongoing volatility in the crypto space, with investors closely monitoring price movements.
