Eric Trump took the spotlight at Bitcoin 2026 in Las Vegas, delivering a bold message about the future of cryptocurrency. According to the American Bitcoin (ABTC) co-founder and chief strategy officer, Bitcoin is no longer approaching its peak moment—it is already living it. Trump emphasized that the rapid evolution of institutional adoption, corporate treasury integration, and mainstream financial accessibility has positioned Bitcoin at its most significant phase yet.

Highlighting recent developments, Trump noted that Bitcoin’s progress over the past six months has outpaced its growth during the previous three years. He described this shift as “transformational,” pointing to increasing involvement from major financial institutions as a key driver. Traditional banks, once skeptical of digital assets, are now offering Bitcoin-backed mortgages and secure custody services, signaling a major shift in Wall Street’s stance on cryptocurrency.

Trump also stressed that investor behavior is changing. Rather than selling during market fluctuations, more participants are holding onto their Bitcoin long-term. This growing “stickiness,” combined with Bitcoin’s fixed supply and rising demand from institutions and even sovereign entities, is creating structural pressure that could influence future price movements.

Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas, who moderated the discussion, reinforced this perspective by focusing on the success of Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs). He noted that Bitcoin ETFs have become some of the most successful financial product launches in recent history, significantly expanding access for retail investors and bridging the gap between traditional finance and digital assets.

Despite acknowledging Bitcoin’s volatility, Trump expressed confidence in its long-term potential. He stated that he is willing to endure short-term fluctuations, believing that the real outcome will become clear over a 10-year horizon. His remarks reflect a broader sentiment in the crypto market: that Bitcoin is transitioning from a speculative asset to a foundational component of the global financial system.
