Hyve Group has acquired Signal Week, formerly known as Paris Blockchain Week, as part of a broader strategy to strengthen its presence across artificial intelligence, fintech, and digital assets. The company also acquired AI-focused RAISE Summit and robotics event MACHINA, creating a new AI-centered division while expanding its crypto expertise.
The rebranded Signal Week reflects the growing convergence between traditional finance and blockchain technology. According to Hyve, the event will continue focusing on cryptocurrency and blockchain while broadening its agenda to include institutional digital assets, traditional finance, stablecoins, tokenization, and AI-powered financial infrastructure.
Signal Week organizers highlighted the shift in the financial industry, noting that traditional finance and digital assets are increasingly operating within the same ecosystem as banks, brokers, and blockchain protocols adopt shared technologies.
The latest Paris Blockchain Week attracted more than 10,000 attendees from over 100 countries, with executives accounting for around 70% of participants. Meanwhile, RAISE Summit brings together more than 9,000 AI professionals, while MACHINA focuses on robotics and physical AI. Although Signal Week and RAISE will remain separate brands, Hyve expects the combined portfolio to attract more investors, financial institutions, technology companies, and policymakers to the Paris innovation ecosystem.
Beyond the acquisitions, Hyve plans to enhance its events through hosted meetings, executive networking sessions, advanced matchmaking tools, year-round membership programs, and expanded digital content. The company also aims to introduce its successful conference brands into new international markets.
The expansion comes as Hyve itself undergoes a change in ownership. In June, private equity firm Hellman & Friedman agreed to acquire the company from Providence Equity Partners and Searchlight Capital Partners. The transaction is expected to close before the end of 2026. According to the Financial Times, the deal values Hyve at approximately $1.8 billion, while the company reported annual EBITDA exceeding $100 million.
With stronger financial backing, Hyve is positioned to accelerate acquisitions and expand globally. For Signal Week, the deal represents a new chapter, transforming one of Europe's leading crypto conferences into a broader platform that connects blockchain, AI, robotics, and institutional finance under a single technology ecosystem.
