On the 28th, PUBLISH announced that its News Token has been listed on CoinTR, the largest cryptocurrency exchange in Turkey, following its listing on Hong Kong's LBank. Trading will be available starting from 4 pm KST on May 11th.
Established in 2022, CoinTR is a cryptocurrency exchange headquartered in Istanbul Maslak, Turkey. It currently has more than 3.1 million global members, with a daily trading volume of $560 million (approximately KRW 750 billion as of April 27, 2023) and maintains its ranking in the top 26 according to CoinMarketCap.
PUBLISH is a tech media company founded in 2018 with the goal of rebuilding the relationship between media and readers through blockchain-based technology and services. It aims to build and expand the Publisher Protocol ecosystem, where users, media outlets, journalists, advertisers, and others can thrive and grow together.
PUBLISH's NEWS token is a utility token used in the PUBLISH Protocol ecosystem and is currently distributed through various blockchain services such as PUBLISH Link (widget service), decentralized identity proof (DID), and non-fungible token (NFT). It also provides a read-and-earn (R&E) service that rewards users with NEWS tokens for reading and sharing articles from media outlets that have adopted the Publisher Link.

Recently, Kwon demonstrated the Korean Journalists Association's DID press card at a special session of the "2023 World Journalists Conference" hosted by the Korean Journalists Association.
Meanwhile, PUBLISH has participated in major NFT projects such as the Hunminjeongeum Haerye Bon and Son Heung-min NFT, and is promoting various blockchain technologies and services in the journalism field, including the development and operation of DID press cards for the Korean Journalists Association and the Korea Internet Newspaper Association.
