Enterprise blockchain platform Cypherium is collaborating with Google Cloud to offer robust blockchain solutions to Google Cloud customers.
Founded in 2017, Cypherium is a highly scalable and robust smart contract platform. It has a “dual chain structure” which employs a hybrid Proof-of-Work (PoW) and Practical Byzantine Fault Tolerant (PBFT) consensus mechanism capable of processing thousands of transactions per second, while maintaining decentralization.
The startup is now joining the elite group of companies worldwide as an official Google Cloud technology partner. This follows Cypherium’s previous collaborations with Amazon Web Services and IBM Cloud.
As part of its collaboration with Google Cloud, Cypherium will provide cloud users with speed, high throughput, confidentiality and the cross-chain capabilities of its platform, which are needed to scale to the demands of real-world business needs.
“We’re delighted to be collaborating with Google Cloud to provide enterprises with a full-stack solution to harness the potential of this paradigm-shifting technology,” Sky Guo, Co-Founder and CEO said. “Cloud customers can rest assured that the blockchain solutions they implement using Cypherium Enterprise are clad in robust security, and capable of delivering rapid transaction speeds for its smart contracts and achieving fast data processing from its Java virtual machine.”
In its press release, Cypherium said that it is capable of processing thousands of transactions per second and delivering significant business benefits, including cheaper, more lightweight deployment, enhanced security, improved traceability, increased efficiency and speed of transactions, as well as reduced costs. The platform enables enterprises to have access to a distributed ledger technology that can scale, while delivering the numerous privacy and security benefits of blockchain technology.
“Google Cloud and Cypherium are bound by a perpetual need to innovate,” added Guo. “The future of commerce and blockchain are inextricably linked and we are well-positioned to leverage Google Cloud's expansive resources and best-in-class infrastructure to accelerate the use of the technology to solve real-world problems faced by businesses today.”
