Shytoshi Kusama, the pseudonymous leader of the Shiba Inu (SHIB) ecosystem, has released a provocative AI-focused whitepaper that paints a complex, dystopian vision of a future dominated by artificial intelligence. Shared by the SHIB-affiliated X account “Shibarium/BONE” (@Shibizens), the document explores the integration of SHIB within this AI-driven future and highlights the contrasting forces at play.

According to Kusama, the future will be shaped by several forms of AI. Centralized AI will control populations, censoring behavior and thought. In contrast, Decentralized AI—backed by so-called "freedom fighters"—will aim to empower communities through open, distributed AI tools. Kusama also identifies Enterprise AI for business optimization, along with Auxiliary and Ancillary AI systems that support broader AI functions. Meanwhile, Malicious AI is expected to emerge in the Post-GPT Era, carrying out harmful actions, with dissenters being monitored and tracked.

Despite the bleak outlook, Kusama holds strong optimism for Creative AI, describing it as the “holy grail” of artificial intelligence. He argues that true innovation stems from human ideas, even if AI can expand on them at scale. Creative AI’s use cases are described as nearly limitless—from generating anime and films from photos to writing stories and designing games. SHIB, according to Kusama, will be deeply embedded in this future, playing a role across these evolving AI ecosystems.

This whitepaper marks a significant shift in the SHIB narrative, merging Web3, AI, and community resistance into one philosophical framework. As SHIB burns spike by over 1,400%, Kusama’s vision further fuels anticipation for SHIB’s next chapter in the age of AI.
