Cosmos information provider and node verifier B-Harvest submitted a new proposal "Cosmos Prop 38" on March 2 to adopt liquidity module in Cosmos Hub, so as to evaluate the community's support for adding liquidity module in the Cosmos Hub during the next upgrade. If the new proposal is passed, B-Harvest is set to submit another proposal in mid-March 2021. And it is recommended to provide bonuses for trading competitions for the incentivized testnet in the form of ATOM, which is estimated to be carried out in April this year. Once all tests and security audit are completed, the information provider will submit the third governance proposal, aiming to kick over the chain upgrade of Cosmos Hub with liquidity included.
In September 2020, Tendermint, the development company of Cosmos, inked an agreement with B-Harvest to jointly construct the Cosmos SDK module of Automated Market Maker (AMM), which will be eventually applied to Cosmo Hub. The aforementioned Cosmos SDK module will enable the Cosmos Hub to act as a cross-chain decentralized exchange, while ATOM can play the part of the basic collateral pair of the crypto exchanges and has the effect of promoting inter-chain communication.
