Bitcoin Hits All-Time High, Enters June With Bullish Momentum

Bitcoin (BTC) ended May 2025 with a historic surge, reaching an all-time high of $111,980 and closing the month at a record $104,591. After trading between $70,000 and $90,000 earlier this year, BTC broke out in Q2 with strong momentum, firmly establishing $100,000 as a new psychological and technical support level.

Traders are now watching the $104,000–$106,000 range as immediate support, while the $111,980 peak acts as resistance. Whether BTC can maintain this bullish trend into June depends on multiple factors — especially upcoming macroeconomic developments.

U.S. trade policy is one key variable. The proposed tariffs on EU imports, delayed due to legal challenges, are now set to take effect on July 9. Depending on the outcome, markets could experience either renewed optimism or heightened volatility, with Bitcoin and other risk assets reacting accordingly.

On-chain activity also shows bullish signs. In May alone, nearly 18,800 large BTC transactions — each over $100,000 — were recorded, the highest monthly total since January. Exchange outflows continue to rise, with over 147,000 BTC withdrawn year-to-date, signaling increased long-term holding behavior. Meanwhile, dormant coins are beginning to move, often a precursor to significant market shifts.

As supply tightens and macro uncertainty looms, Bitcoin’s next move could shape the rest of 2025. For now, the trend remains upward, with analysts eyeing whether BTC can solidify its position above $100K or face a correction.
