Bitcoin spot ETFs recorded a notable surge in inflows on Friday, May 2, totaling $311.43 million—equivalent to 3,215 BTC—according to recent data. Leading the pack was BlackRock’s IBIT ETF, which drew in $352.17 million, or approximately 3,636 BTC, in a single day. Over the past week, IBIT alone amassed 21,521 BTC, bringing its total Bitcoin holdings to an impressive 607,685 BTC valued at $58.86 billion.

Other key players also saw moderate inflows. Fidelity’s spot ETF added 264 BTC during the same period, boosting its total holdings to 198,640 BTC. Bitwise followed closely with 397 BTC in net inflows, now managing a total of 38,688 BTC. Altogether, the top 10 Bitcoin ETFs received 15,035 BTC this week, worth around $1.46 billion.

Despite the overall positive trend, not all ETFs benefited. Ark 21Shares experienced a significant outflow of 903 BTC, while Grayscale shed 347 BTC on Friday alone, totaling a 923 BTC loss for the week. Franklin Templeton’s ETF, meanwhile, saw zero inflows both daily and weekly, indicating stagnation in investor interest.

This influx into spot Bitcoin ETFs highlights growing institutional confidence and sustained demand for crypto-based financial products. BlackRock’s dominant position underscores its aggressive strategy in the digital asset space, further validating Bitcoin’s appeal among traditional investors. With over $58 billion in BTC now under its management, IBIT solidifies its role as a market leader in the evolving ETF landscape.

As Bitcoin continues to gain mainstream traction, ETF inflows serve as a strong indicator of bullish sentiment among institutional players, potentially influencing broader market dynamics in the weeks ahead.
