Ethereum (ETH) is struggling to maintain its recent bullish momentum after failing to break above the 26-day Exponential Moving Average (EMA), a critical resistance that has capped price gains for weeks. Currently trading around $2,095, ETH remains under this dynamic ceiling, raising concerns about a potential trend reversal.

The repeated rejection at the 26 EMA highlights its influence as a barrier. Despite signs of recovery, ETH’s inability to close above this level has triggered renewed selling pressure. If the asset continues to fail at this line, the recent uptrend could stall or even reverse.

A larger hurdle lies at the 50-day EMA, currently near $2,310. This level is a key threshold for Ethereum’s medium-term trajectory. Without a decisive breakout above it, the $2,500 target may remain elusive, limiting upside potential.

However, not all signals are bearish. ETH is still holding above the psychological support level of $2,000, indicating resilience. Moreover, trading volume remains steady, showing no signs of panic selling. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) sits at 44, suggesting that Ethereum is not yet oversold and may be primed for a rebound if buying interest resumes.

In summary, Ethereum is at a critical juncture. While the recent EMA rejections are a concern, the asset’s position above $2,000 and stable market behavior offer a silver lining. A successful break above both the 26 and 50 EMA levels could reignite bullish sentiment and push ETH back toward the $2,500 resistance. Until then, the market remains cautiously optimistic.
