Data-driven marketing firm Ascent Networks joins PUBLISHalliance

On April 18, 2019, PUBLISH, a blockchain media platform, entered into a strategic partnership agreement with Ascent Networks.

With the agreement, Ascent Networks has joined the PUBLISHalliance supporting the development and application of PUBLISHprotocol along with other media, business and academic entities. The companies have also entered a global marketing partnership agreement for Listening Mind, a research data-based marketing platform.

PUBLISHalliance is a decentralized media consortium connecting media, startup companies and academic entities. Over 30 media and corporations have joined so far, attracting over 1 billion views per month.

Data acquisition to understand customers’ needs is crucial for marketing data services companies as clients increasingly want to make high budget marketing decisions by valuing the customer data. Data-driven marketing begins with understanding consumers by securing valid data. Global data service companies with artificial intelligence (AI) technology fight over data which is believed to be the ‘new oil’ in the fourth industrial revolution.

Ascent Networks is in the business of providing search data based marketing services that are thought to be possible only with big search platforms. It is the only Korean marketing consulting company that analyzes and provides keywords data, search result contents data and online activity data through AI technology.

Since 2012, Ascent Networks has been collecting and analyzing search data from Yahoo, Google, Bing, Baidu and Naver and providing insights to global leading smartphone brand and car maker for the launch of their new product and data-driven digital marketing. In addition to joining PUBLISHalliance, Ascent Networks has entered into a global marketing partnership agreement with TokenPost, a blockchain media outlet. The companies will work together to notify updates and recruit global panel members for Listening Mind project.

It will be interesting to see how this partnership between PUBLISH and Ascent Networks leads the blockchain industry.
