Binance to Delist Five Altcoins Following Routine Review

Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, is set to delist five digital assets after a regular evaluation of their compliance with platform standards. The affected cryptocurrencies are Aergo (AERGO), AirSwap (AST), BurgerCities (BURGER), COMBO (COMBO), and Linear Finance (LINA). This move highlights Binance’s commitment to maintaining a secure and transparent trading environment by ensuring all listed assets meet its evolving criteria.

The decision follows an internal review that assessed several key factors, including trading volume, liquidity, security, project team commitment, and regulatory compliance. Binance stated that these projects no longer meet its listing requirements, prompting their removal from the exchange.

All spot trading pairs involving the delisted tokens will be removed on March 28, 2025, at 03:00 a.m. UTC. Users are urged to take necessary action regarding their holdings before this deadline. While Binance may convert delisted tokens to stablecoins on behalf of users, this is not guaranteed. A separate announcement will confirm if this applies.

Additionally, margin and futures trading for AERGO, LINA, and COMBO will be closed and settled by March 27, 2025, at 09:00 a.m. UTC. After this date, the tokens will also be removed from Binance Simple Earn, Convert, and Trading Bots.

Binance is also introducing a new Vote to Delist feature, allowing the community to suggest future delistings. However, this does not apply to the tokens listed in the current announcement.
