Blockchain fusion platform 'Berry Store' held an AMA(ask me anything) session on the 12th.
One question and answer with BAE LE, CEO of 'Berry Store'.
Q, Please introduce yourself briefly and explain the berry store.
I was a graduate of Emory University and studied socioeconomic management and became interested in the overall social phenomenon at that time. At that time, while looking at the global trend of Hallyu culture and donation trends and analyzing their impact on society, the Berry Project, which combines blockchain, entertainment, and donations, caught my eye. Since then, I have contacted Berry's management staff in Korea and expressed my desire to participate in the Berry project, and have been participating in the project with the management team since then. After the Yoo Jeong-ho incident, the existing representative resigned and I came to the forefront.
Berry Store has a variety of contents, including a lot of stars' favorites, items, and talent donations, as well as contents that can be marketed from the perspective of companies and app-tech from the perspective of users.
Q, Please tell us about the problems and solutions of the current donation culture.
So far, many donations have not been properly delivered to neighbors in need and have been used to pursue individual interests. Due to this, the perception of donations is not good. Changing these preconceptions requires improvement in the overall perception of donations in society.
Berry store can prevent the use of some of the previously problematic non-transparent donations with the benefits of the blockchain public books, and can always check whether the donations have been delivered well to those who actually want to donate. Like this, we are leading a transparent donation culture.
Q. Is there any organization that currently operates by combining blockchain technology and donations?
Cherry was a project that was run by combining blockchain and donation. The purpose was to transparently deliver donations to neighbors in need by taking advantage of the open books, which are characteristics of blockchain. However, in the case of cherries, I understand that it failed to popularize the business because of the simple combination of blockchain and donation.
Berry store likewise has the same advantage of open books, but it has prepared business items that combine entertainment to secure marketability that is difficult to target only with blockchain and donations.
Q. What kind of donation culture has blockchain technology grown in the future?
In order for the blockchain industry to grow together, we believe that businesses and Dapps that can apply blockchain technology to our lives must be formed first. Since then, when each business and DApp establish a stable ecosystem, it forms a strong network to create a multi-blockchain ecosystem, which is the growth form of the blockchain industry. In this case, I think the transparent donation culture using blockchain technology will be taken for granted by the public.
