Binance has announced that it will expand its Monitoring Tag list by adding four cryptocurrency tokens: Act I: The AI Prophecy (ACT), Blur (BLUR), PIVX (PIVX), and QuarkChain (QKC). The update will take effect on June 18, placing these digital assets under increased scrutiny due to concerns related to volatility, risk levels, and ongoing compliance with the exchange’s listing standards.
The Binance Monitoring Tag is assigned to cryptocurrencies that demonstrate significantly higher risk compared to other listed assets. Tokens carrying this designation are subject to more frequent evaluations and may face potential delisting if they fail to meet Binance’s requirements over time.
According to Binance, ACT, BLUR, PIVX, and QKC will be closely monitored through regular project reviews. While inclusion on the Monitoring Tag list does not guarantee removal from the exchange, it signals that the assets are under review and could eventually be delisted if concerns persist. Conversely, Binance may remove the tag if a project shows sufficient improvement and meets the platform’s listing criteria.
The latest move highlights Binance’s ongoing efforts to maintain a secure and transparent trading environment for users. The exchange routinely evaluates listed cryptocurrencies based on factors such as development activity, liquidity, trading volume, regulatory compliance, and overall project performance.
In related Binance news, the exchange recently published its 43rd Proof of Reserves report. The report showed a notable increase in user-held Bitcoin and Ethereum balances. User Bitcoin holdings rose by 4.26% to approximately 630,000 BTC, while Ethereum holdings increased by 10.17% to around 4.14 million ETH. Meanwhile, user-held USDT balances declined by 1.33% to roughly 34.3 billion USDT.
Binance also announced the upcoming listing of Re (RE), with trading for RE/USDT, RE/USDC, and RE/TRY pairs scheduled to begin on June 18 at 14:00 UTC. Additionally, the exchange confirmed support for the upcoming Base network hard fork and upgrade, temporarily suspending deposits and withdrawals on the Base network ahead of the event on June 25.
The addition of ACT, BLUR, PIVX, and QKC to Binance’s Monitoring Tag list is likely to attract attention from traders and investors, as the designation often serves as an early warning sign regarding a token’s future status on the platform.
