Famed rapper Snoop Dogg, also known as entrepreneur Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., has once again dived into the world of Web3. This time, he is launching a unique nonfungible token (NFT) initiative, offering his followers a closer look into his touring life.
The new initiative, called the Snoop Dogg Passport Series, was recently unveiled by the rapper. It features an intriguing collection of NFTs that grant holders admission to a variety of multimedia content. Fans will gain an inside perspective on the tour with exclusive access to behind-the-scenes footage and photos directly from Snoop Dogg himself. Additionally, holders of these NFT passports can look forward to future benefits, including unique artworks and merchandise.
Snoop Dogg has been a vocal advocate for progress and innovation, seeing digital merchandise as an integral part of the future. He also expressed his hope that his trailblazing path will inspire other artists to evolve and innovate. He worked closely with Transient Labs, a renowned Web3 platform, to bring this project to life.

Even before this project, Snoop Dogg was no stranger to the Web3 sphere. In 2021, he revealed himself as the previously anonymous NFT collector "Cozomo de' Medici," boasting an NFT wallet estimated at $17.6 million. In addition to collecting NFTs, he co-founded Shiller, a Web3-based live-streaming platform, with tech expert Sam Jones on March 6. The platform aims to merge Web3 technology with live content streaming.
