Crypto exchange CoinZoom announced the official launching of CoinZoom Visa Card that will allow crypto payments by converting digital assets into U.S. dollars.

In a press release, CoinZoom announced that its customers can now instantly convert their crypto balances to fiat and use it to over 53 million Visa merchants globally with CoinZoom Visa Cards. The card can be linked directly to customer accounts and customers can pre-select the wallet they wish to debit whenever they use the Visa card.

CoinZoom customers can select their fiat wallet or crypto wallet which supports bitcoin (BTC), ripple (XRP), ethereum (ETH), litecon (LTC) and other digital assets.

“We are extremely pleased to work with Visa as we launch CoinZoom. Visa’s dominance as a global leader in digital payments, is a tremendous asset as CoinZoom begins to reshape the global cryptocurrency marketplace. Our goal is to provide cryptocurrency traders with the best platform for buying, selling, and spending digital assets,” said Todd Crosland, CoinZoom founder and CEO.

The CoinZoom Visa Card makes payment using the latest technology applied in credit cards. CoinZoom’s authorization engine will instantly convert cryptocurrencies to USD to complete the purchase. Aside from allowing crypto for payment, customers can earn up to 5% card rewards in every purchase they make. Customers can also make cash withdrawals from ATMs.

“CoinZoom is not only the first U.S. cryptocurrency exchange to provide a Visa card to its customers but also offers or industry-first features like ZoomMe, CoinZoom’s FREE Peer-to-Peer crypto and fiat payment system. Customers can send both crypto and fiat instantly to friends and family all over the world for free. CoinZoom also provides customers with a premier fiat gateway for funding their accounts. There are several funding options including both Visa and Mastercard debit card options,” Crosland added.

CoinZoom has also launched CoinZoom Pro, its proprietary advanced IOS trading App. It’s already available for download in the Apple App Store.

Meanwhile, crypto exchange Coinbase has also announced that Coinbase Card can now be linked to Google Pay. Coinbase Card is a Visa debit card funded by crypto and with it, customers can now enjoy fast and secure payments through their smartphone, smartwatches or other Google Pay-enabled devices.
