ZetaChain Proposal Targets Dec. 9 Solana Claims Portal for ZETA Holders

Balances would be recorded at an announced block height, and the proposal says Ethereum-based ZETA would be unaffected.

A ZetaChain community proposal outlines a Dec. 9 self-service portal for holders of the ZetaChain token (ZETA), with a balance snapshot and matching Solana supply defining the migration.

The proposal calls for ZetaChain to record ZETA balances at a block height announced in advance, then mint matching supply on Solana before the portal opens. ZetaChain’s Layer 1 would close at that same snapshot block, while ZETA on Ethereum would be unaffected.

Claims would be available through ZetaHub starting Dec. 9. The portal and its underlying programs are undergoing an independent security review; the proposal says a report will be published in a later announcement after the review is complete.

The plan adds operational details to an earlier proposal to move ZETA to Solana, which set a one-to-one conversion ratio and targeted Dec. 9.
