ZachXBT linked a French banking giant to an alleged $133 million crypto heist, while stablecoin figures tied to the investigation show $1.14 million frozen and another $2.53 million still unfrozen.

Tether froze $1.14 million in Tether (USDT) connected to the case. Circle had not frozen $2.53 million in USD Coin (USDC) also linked to the investigation. The reported freeze total accounts for only a fraction of the alleged $133 million loss.

The two stablecoin figures describe different statuses: the USDT had been frozen, while the USDC had not.

The frozen $1.14 million is only a fraction of the alleged total.
