Belong Launches Event Data Platform With Half-Cent USDC Queries
Long Events covers 400 cities in 118 countries, with API and MCP access for developers.

Belong launched Long Events on Nov. 4, giving AI agents a way to search event listings across 400 cities and settle individual API calls in USDC on Base for $0.005 each.
The catalog combines event listings from ticketing sites and event organizers in a standardized format. It covers 118 countries and contains details on 500,000 past and upcoming events, 180,000 venues, 80,000 artists and 300 event weeks.
Developers can reach the catalog through a REST application programming interface (API) or 16 Model Context Protocol (MCP) tools. An API lets software request information over the web; MCP tools give AI models a defined way to connect with outside services. A developer can connect an application to the API or configure an agent to query Long Events through its MCP tools.
Each API call costs $0.005 and is settled in USDC on Base. At that listed price, $1 pays for 200 calls. The per-request rate allows individual searches to be paid for separately, while the bundle option offers a prepaid route.
Belong sells prepaid bundles of 10 calls on BNB Chain. Buyers can pay in LONG, USDT, USDC or USD1. Payments made with LONG carry a 20% promotional discount through March 31, 2027. Individual USDC calls use Base, while the prepaid bundles use BNB Chain.
The launch adds event information to a set of services that AI agents can access through blockchain payments. Celo Core Co.'s buy marketplace for agent services lists computing, data and API services that agents can purchase from wallets on Celo. Long Events focuses on event listings, with payment attached to queries or 10-call bundles.
Belong plans to expand data freshness and developer integrations.
