Boundless Foundation plans to pause operations of its ZK proving protocol Thursday, Nov. 5, and shift rewards for ZKC stakers toward AI model credits, changing how participants earn rewards from the network.

The planned tokenized AI inference program would give stakers credits to use models on Boundless' AI platform. Allocations would reflect each participant's share of eligible stake. The program's launch date, credit amounts and refresh schedule have not been announced.

The credits are planned to replace existing staking and proof rewards as Boundless ends new ZKC emissions in Q4 2026. The exact emissions end date and final terms are still to come.

Boundless plans to stop accepting new proof requests and close proof reward claims on Nov. 5. Its Explorer interface is scheduled to shut down Nov. 30. Staking will move to a new destination, with access instructions to come.
