DarkSword malware targets people who use crypto on iPhones, aiming to steal digital assets and collect sensitive data. iPhone and iPad users should update their software and watch for malicious code that may have been added to apps already installed on their devices.

DarkSword exploits iOS vulnerabilities to get past the system's app sandbox. That access can expose information stored in several places: passwords and other private data in Keychain, private-key files saved locally by crypto wallets, and information kept in Notes. The malware threatens both account credentials and wallet data stored directly on a phone.

The activity targets iPhone crypto users, with theft as the goal. Users should update system software across iPhones and iPads, and the risk can involve apps already on a device. Device software and installed apps are central to this threat.
