GMX has opened Builder Fees on Solana, giving third-party developers a way to charge for eligible position orders routed through their interfaces, services or automated tools.

Developers publish their fee rates onchain, and traders sign each order at the stated rate. The fee is added to GMX's standard trading fee and is calculated from changes to a position. For example, a $1,000 position increase at a 0.01% builder fee would incur an additional 10 cents.

Collected fees are settled into a treasury the developer can claim. Eligible orders include market and limit orders that increase or reduce positions, along with stop-loss orders that reduce positions. Swaps, liquidations and ADL are excluded.

Routing through a builder leaves GMX's execution framework in place: orders use its usual liquidity pools and oracle prices and face the same price-impact rules as other GMX orders.
