Elysium Plans Nov. 9 Mainnet Launch With HYPE as Gas Token
The network will settle on HyperEVM and operate alongside HyperCore, which handles trading.

Elysium plans to launch its Hyperliquid-focused layer-2 mainnet Nov. 9, opening a network for applications and transactions within an ecosystem centered on on-chain trading.
The network will use Hyperliquid (HYPE) as its native gas token. Users will pay transaction fees in HYPE. Elysium is designed as a general-purpose layer 2, allowing developers to build applications beyond a single trading function.
Transactions on Elysium will settle on HyperEVM, Hyperliquid’s smart contract environment. Elysium is designed to operate alongside HyperCore, which handles trading. It currently runs Conduit’s G2 sequencer, which orders transactions for processing.
The planned launch would move Elysium from testing to a live network open to applications and transactions. Its design connects the new application network to Hyperliquid’s existing smart contract and trading systems. The mainnet launch is scheduled for Nov. 9.
