peaqOS Integrates World ID to Verify Humans in Machine Interactions

peaq has integrated World ID into peaqOS, allowing robots, vehicles and smart devices to verify whether an interaction involves a real person and the specified recipient.

The integration uses zero-knowledge proofs to return an anonymous yes-or-no result without revealing or storing personal information. World ID credentials can be used in machine interactions supported by peaqOS.

A drug-delivery demonstration is online on robotic.sh. The technology is also designed for use cases involving sample distribution and equipment rental.

The integration connects World ID’s human-verification capabilities with peaqOS, extending identity checks to interactions involving machines and other connected devices.
