Bitget has reopened withdrawals after a hack, while the exchange’s platform balances have fallen by about $600 million, putting renewed focus on user access and exchange liquidity.

The platform still holds more than $6.7 billion in assets despite the decline. The balance decline followed the reopening of withdrawals after the security incident.

The balance reduction is significant for an exchange because customer confidence depends on continued access to withdrawals and sufficient assets to meet them.
