About 60% of the Bitcoin (BTC) supply held by recent buyers was below cost basis on Nov. 6 after BTC fell the previous day, temporarily lowering the risk that those buyers would take profits during a rebound.

The holdings had briefly returned to profit before the Nov. 5 decline, then moved back into unrealized losses. The finding concerns recent buyers’ share of BTC supply, rather than the entire Bitcoin supply.
