Aave’s V4 Equities Hub on Base held about $871,000 in SPCXc deposits as of Nov. 5. Eligible users outside the United States can use the certificate as collateral for USD Coin (USDC) loans.

SPCXc is a Coinbase-issued certificate that reflects SpaceX Class A common stock. The market’s 55% collateral factor allows borrowers to draw up to about $55 in USDC for every $100 of SPCXc collateral. Deposits are capped at 37,000 tokens.

The market is limited to eligible users in jurisdictions outside the United States, excluding U.S. users from borrowing against SPCXc there. Aave’s Equities Hub launched Sept. 25 with seven tokenized U.S. technology stocks available as collateral for USDC borrowing. The hub is isolated from Aave’s other lending pools, keeping stock-backed collateral in a separate market.

Aave’s addition of SPCXc as collateral established the certificate’s role in the Base market. The Nov. 5 figure counts SPCXc deposits in Aave’s lending market.
