XRP led a five-asset perpetual-futures snapshot with a 4.56% 24-hour increase in open interest, the group’s largest gain as of 6:01 a.m. ET Nov. 4. Open interest rose in four markets; Dogecoin was the only one to decline.

All five assets had a funding rate of 0.0100% for each eight-hour period, equivalent to 10.9% annualized. When funding is positive, traders holding long positions pay those holding short positions. Long accounts outnumbered short accounts in every market, with Solana recording the highest long-account share.

Bitcoin (BTC) had a mark price of $78,587 and $7.74 billion in open interest, up 0.18% over 24 hours. It had the largest open-interest total among the five assets. Long accounts represented 65.7% of the total, compared with 34.3% short.

Ether (ETH) had a mark price of $2,328 and $5.50 billion in open interest, a 3.12% increase. Its long-account share was 68.4%, while short accounts made up 31.6%.

Solana (SOL) was marked at $93.60, with $875 million in open interest, up 0.83%. Long accounts accounted for 75.3%, the highest share in the snapshot; short accounts represented 24.7%.

XRP was marked at $1.29. Its open interest reached $440.9 million after rising 4.56% over 24 hours. Long accounts made up 70.9%, compared with 29.1% short.

Dogecoin (DOGE) had a mark price of $0.0752 and $200 million in open interest, down 1.99%. Long accounts represented 73.3%, while short accounts made up 26.7%.

Open interest tracks the dollar value of derivatives contracts that remain open. A previous five-coin futures snapshot led by Solana also tracked open-interest changes and funding rates.
