StoneX reaffirmed its Buy rating on Nvidia, while Seaport began covering Anthropic without a rating, putting investor focus on AI demand, capital needs and the financing behind compute expansion.

StoneX pointed to customer investments and financial backstops, including Broadcom’s role in the Anthropic compute financing structure. Bank of America, Blackstone, Citi and Morgan Stanley announced the $63 billion arrangement Oct. 26. A special-purpose vehicle will purchase Broadcom XPU accelerators and networking solutions, then lease them to Anthropic. Broadcom will provide residual-value support equal to the first-lien financing amount.

Seaport cited Anthropic’s AI capabilities, capital intensity and governance in opening coverage. The firm deferred a rating pending the company’s IPO.

Equipment deliveries under the financing structure are expected to begin in 2027.
