Two U.S. economic releases are scheduled Monday, giving markets readings on broad activity and manufacturing before the Federal Reserve’s policy decision Wednesday.
The Chicago Fed National Activity Index is due at 8:30 a.m. ET (12:30 UTC). The CFNAI measures national economic activity and inflation pressure. The Dallas Fed Manufacturing Survey follows at 10:30 a.m. ET (14:30 UTC).
The Fed is scheduled to announce its policy decision Wednesday, Oct. 28, at 2 p.m. ET (18:00 UTC), followed by a news conference at 2:30 p.m. ET.
