NEAR token (NEAR) holdings in Bitwise’s exchange-traded fund carried a 3.31% net staking reward rate as of Oct. 16, below the listed 4.94% gross rate. Both figures can change.

The Bitwise NEAR ETF, ticker NRR, holds NEAR directly and seeks additional tokens through staking. Rewards accrue to the fund’s net asset value per share instead of being paid as a fixed cash yield. Staking rewards are not guaranteed.

The gross rate uses an average of annualized rates over the preceding 90 days. It reflects a period of rates rather than a fixed payout for investors. An average network staking reward rate of about 5% at launch is distinct from the fund’s Oct. 16 gross and net rates.

The trust allocates 33% of staking rewards to its staking agent, custodian and sponsor, retaining about 67%. It also assesses a separate annual sponsor fee equal to 0.75% of its NEAR holdings. That fee is separate from the share of staking rewards allocated to service providers.

NRR held 16,510,412.80 NEAR, valued at $82,386,959.88, as of Oct. 15. All of its assets were staked as of Oct. 16, though the sponsor may change the fund’s liquidity reserve.

The fund began trading on NYSE Arca on Sept. 29, adding an exchange-listed ETF format for U.S. NEAR exposure. Grayscale’s NEAR trust shares had qualified for OTCQB trading under ticker GSNR in 2025, before the NRR launch.

Separately, NEAR Intents had more than $33 billion in lifetime volume across 36 chains at 10:10 p.m. ET Oct. 18 (02:10 UTC Oct. 19). The protocol supports cross-chain transactions, including swaps and liquidity access; its volume is separate from NRR’s holdings and staking rates.

Unstaking is expected to take about 48 hours under normal conditions, and the trust aims to meet redemptions on a T+2 basis. The process may take longer than two days.
