TRON (TRX) traded near $0.33 on Oct. 13 as compressed volatility, negative futures funding and mixed technical readings pointed to limited short-term momentum.

TRX was priced at $0.33 on Binance spot at 5:11 a.m. ET (09:11 UTC), down 0.51% over 24 hours. The reported daily high and low both rounded to $0.33, while the daily ATR(14) also rounded to $0.00. An Oct. 12 outlook recorded an intraday range of $0.32978 to $0.33145, showing that the rounded figures did not mean trading was entirely motionless.

The seven-, 20- and 200-day simple moving averages and the 12- and 26-day exponential moving averages were each at $0.33. The 50-day simple moving average was $0.34.

TRX’s 14-day relative strength index stood at 38.27. The MACD and signal line were both -0.0018, with a zero histogram. The stochastic oscillator showed %K at 12.90 and %D at 10.32, while Bollinger Band %B was 0.1218.

Derivatives data showed an eight-hour funding rate of -0.0471%. Under the perpetual-futures mechanism, that means short-position holders paid long-position holders. Negative funding can indicate that derivatives positioning is leaning short, but it does not determine the direction of the spot price.

Futures open interest stood at approximately $97.9 million, representing 296.6 million contracts, up 0.19% over 24 hours. At 3 a.m. ET (07:00 UTC), the global long-short ratio was 1.1137, with 52.7% of accounts long and 47.3% short. Among top traders, the ratio was 1.0338, with 50.8% long and 49.2% short.

The one-hour taker buy-sell ratio was 1.0949, reflecting buy volume of 1,370,907 TRX against sell volume of 1,252,108 TRX.

The October 2026 outlook placed support at $0.3220, resistance at $0.3450 and the target at $0.3340. The $0.3340 target represented a projected 1.20% return from $0.33004.

The technical picture remained mixed. Low stochastic and Bollinger readings were consistent with an oversold-style setup, while the negative MACD and the $0.34 50-day average left resistance above the current price. A move toward $0.34 was identified as an improvement in the short-term setup, while a break below $0.3220 would weaken the stated range framework. The market snapshot follows earlier coverage of TRX near $0.33.
