Celestia’s TIA token rallied 23% to $0.633, its highest level of 2026, while rising market activity contrasted with weakening momentum across the broader altcoin market.

The move brought TIA back toward the $0.625 swing high from January after the token fell toward $0.43 in late September. Open interest increased 45% over 24 hours, while daily trading volume rose 213%.

The rally coincided with Celestia Fibre reaching 3.07 terabits per second and with the Sustainable Blob Economy proposal. Celestia Fibre throughput reached 3.07 terabits per second, while the proposal represented an economic upgrade for the network.

Broader altcoin momentum weakened during the move. The Altcoin Season Index fell from altseason territory as Bitcoin (BTC) corrected toward $80,000. Joao Wedson said, “Now is no longer an ideal time for altcoins, as the Altcoin Season Index has peaked.”

TIA fell from $0.625 to $0.269 earlier this year, a 57% decline completed in just over three weeks. The token later tested the $0.50 resistance zone in May and September before rebounding in October as the wider market corrected amid profit-taking and macroeconomic uncertainty.

A daily close above $0.625 would mark a break above the January swing high. TokenPost previously covered TIA’s sharp one-hour jump as trading volume increased.
