Crypto Traders Lose $53.45 Million in One Hour as Long Liquidations Reach 99%

Crypto traders saw $53.45 million in liquidations during the one-hour period ending at 7:13 a.m. ET (11:13 UTC) Thursday, with long positions accounting for $52.74 million, or 99% of the total.

TokenPost collected and combined public liquidation figures from Binance, Bybit and OKX. The tally covered 5,070 liquidation events, while short-position liquidations totaled $700,000.

Binance recorded the largest amount at $32.71 million, followed by OKX at $15.26 million and Bybit at $5.48 million. By asset, Bitcoin (BTC) led with $22.10 million in liquidations, followed by Ether (ETH) at $16.53 million and Solana (SOL) at $4.02 million.

The figures cover only the three exchanges included in the tally and do not represent liquidations across the entire cryptocurrency market.
