Ethena’s ENA token has pulled back from nearly $0.29 in late September toward $0.22 while USDe supply continued to expand, separating the token’s market performance from the protocol’s product growth.

ENA was quoted at $0.2235 at 11:54 p.m. ET on Oct. 7 (03:54 UTC on Oct. 8). Its market capitalization was $3.00 billion, and 24-hour trading volume was $351.31 million.

The token rose from roughly $0.08 in August to nearly $0.29 in late September before retreating. Daily closes reached $0.272163 on Sept. 27 and $0.240443 on Oct. 6.

The pullback has occurred as Ethena’s USDe synthetic dollar expanded. Supply rose from $4.07 billion at the Aug. 29 close to $4.91 billion at the Sept. 29 close, a 20.5% increase. The measurements were taken at 00:00 UTC, or 8 p.m. ET on the previous day.

USDe is designed to maintain dollar exposure while generating returns through collateral and hedging strategies. Its supply was about 4.91 billion USDe when the data was collected, providing a measure of demand for Ethena’s dollar product.

Ethena is also expanding distribution through branded stablecoin infrastructure. Ether.fi plans to launch an Ethena-powered stablecoin for more than $300 million of existing stablecoin balances in its neobank product. The infrastructure supports branded stablecoins backed by assets including USDe and USDtb.

Ethena Pay launched on iOS in about 50 countries, with U.S. and European support planned for October 2026. ENA has a maximum supply of 15 billion tokens, with about 13 billion in circulation.

ENA’s market price captures investor sentiment, whereas changes in USDe issuance indicate use of the protocol’s synthetic-dollar offering. The figures place ENA’s retreat beside growth in USDe, without demonstrating a causal relationship between the two trends.
