Bitget recorded a 3,326 Bitcoin (BTC) outflow in the first hour after the exchange reopened BTC withdrawals following a temporary pause, highlighting the immediate demand to move assets off the platform.
The withdrawal halt was imposed as a security precaution. Bitget said user balances were unaffected and deposits continued during the pause.
Bitcoin was the first asset included in the reopening. Bitget plans to restore withdrawals for other cryptocurrencies later in the week as the phased process continues.
